Congratulations to the NVSC B96 who recently competed at Dallas Cup XXXI. Dallas Cup is recognized worldwide as the most prestigious Invite - only boys tournament in the world. This years tournament had age groups from U13-U19. A few of this years teams included the USA National U19 team, Mexican National U19 team, Japanese National U19 team, Chelsea FC U19 & Tottenham FC U19.

Over the years Dallas Cup has played host to some of the worlds most famous clubs. Manchester United, Real Madrid, AC Milan, Chelsea,Liverpool,West Ham, Moscow Dynamo, CD Guadalajara. World famous International soccer stars David Beckham, Wayne rooney, Michael Owen, Robinho and the USA’s Landon Donovan have all competed at Dallas Cup.

NVSC B96 ended up losing an amazing match 2-1 to Legends-LAFC(CA). NVSC took the lead on a brilliant goal by (Jose Hernandez) and lead 1-0 at the half. At the very end NVSC had two point blank misses to tie the game. Coach Grant Sawyer told the boys after the game "You played your hearts out boys and did not deserve to lose that game, a tie would have been a fair result. That team is the best team here and will win this tournament". Sure enough Legends-LAFC went on to win Dallas Cup XXXI.....

One bright note was Jose Hernandez. Nike hosted their skills/dribbling/shooting/accuracy clinic for all Dallas Cup players. The NVSC boys took their turn right after the U19 USA National team. Not only did Jose do better than the USA U19 team, Jose finished 1st overall out of the entire Dallas Cup. Congratulations!
