Hello Parents and Potential Players:
If you are reading this you are among one of the many parents and players who are interested in Arizona’s only all girls soccer club. Pinnacle Soccer Academy is in the process of building a top tier girls program through a proven model of providing a fun, positive, challenging, and competitive environment. PSA is committed to developing players who are smart, skilled, and mentally strong. The PSA system will ensure a never ending passion for the game for our players!
Tryout season can be a difficult time and be stressful for player and parent alike. Once PSA offers a spot for a player, we will ask for a commitment in the form of registration paperwork. Once we receive the registration paperwork we consider you to have committed to PSA. We trust that at such time you have done your homework and are comfortable in your decision to play with PSA. It is not looked upon highly to go back on your commitment to us, not only does it hurt the team whom you chose to leave, but it also affects other players who would have had a spot on the team otherwise. Please consider your choices carefully because your decision affects others.
New as well as returning players are required to attend tryouts with an equal opportunity for all to make the team in question. We always permit our current players to attend competing clubs' tryouts and do everything possible to schedule our tryouts so that our players or players from outside are able to attend other club tryouts. Unfortunately there are those that will ask players to leave a club if they express interest in another. We do not believe in this tactic.
Individual tryout sessions can be made in the event you can’t make tryouts due to injury or you are new to town, etc. Please email our Director of Coaching at psa@pinnaclesoccer.com to arrange a tryout.

Preparing for Tryouts
Be Ready
Practice to be comfortable on the ball! You may have had a few weeks off before tryouts and are a little rusty. A bad touch is easy to observe in tryouts. Make sure to practice on your own by juggling, dribbling, and hitting the ball against the back yard wall (with Mom's permission of course!). These are all great ways to improve your touch.
Be Fit
One of the worst things you can do as a player is come into a tryout out of shape! Make sure you have been running and playing to stay in shape for tryouts in order to give yourself the best chance to succeed. A fit player is a confident player.
Don't be shy
Say hi to coaches! Make yourself known.
Play with Passion
When at the tryout, show the coaches how much you love the game. Coaches LOVE soccer and they want their players to love the game too! Make sure to fly around the field, always being active in the game.
Ask for the Job
Tell the coach you want to play for the team!
